New Day ~ New LOVELIES!!

My Mother and Great Aunt were both accomplished painters! My Mother use to buy art supplies hoping 1 of her children would be an artist.

Here are some of my paintings up to now. This is the painting that started me painting. I painted this for a nutcracker contest during the holidays.

Girly Frilly Journal and a new card!!

Yesterday, I made 2 new projects. I made a Girly frilly journal and a new card!!  The journal, I have been wanting to make a girly one for a long time. The journal book is very old.  A couple of years ago, I to an estate sale I bought a whole craft room full of stuff!  FUN STUFF!!  In among all of the items were a bunch of old blank journal books.  

So yesterday I decided to altered one. I hope you will LOVE it!!

The other new project is a new card!  This image is from an old block stamp. I stamped the image on vellum and backed it on white card stock. I just LOVE the color of the card. I didn't plan to make her dress match the card. It just worked out that way.  I LOVE coloring on vellum! I hope you LOVE her as much as I did making her!!

Mix Media Project

Rarely do I do an Mix Media Project. I thought I was happy with the first canvas. Looked at it everyday for a week and decided it needed something!! I added some little butterflies and NOW I am HAPPY with it!!

FUN CARDS!!!!

These are cards made to look like it is holding a fall leaf.  Each card is holding a fall leaf but made of paper. I painted each leaves like ones that are outside my window.  I got the wonderful idea of using a leaf as a canvas. I watched Cinnamon Cooney, The Art Sherpa paint her leaves of a real leaf!!
